Now with over 20 years experience in the hairdressing and barbering industries Michael continues to add to his skills, grow the business and develop the Barber & Mack team.
Abi is one of the newest members of the Barber & Mack team.
Abi found her way into barbering after spending 16 years working in hospitality, much of this time as a chef.
Having played at cutting friends hair during lockdown, Abi decided to take barbering more seriously and trained at the Jax Barbering Academy in Leeds. She has over 2 years industry experience and is ready to build her client base at Barber & Mack.
She is a keen traveller and has a passion for food and music. Quite the Nina Simone fan and loves South East Asian food! She has recently spent a year in New Zealand where she worked as a barber for most of the year to fund her travels.
The stalwart at Baber & Mack – with us since 2016, Sam is rock-solid in all areas of men’s haircutting, and happens to be quite accomplished at women’s cuts too.
Whilst working at Barber & Mack, Sam has achieved a first class honors degree in chemical engineering, and a masters degree in renewable energy. Much like the rest of the team, Sam has a passion for food, music, booze and nice times. We hope he sticks around for another few years, as he’s a top chap.
Jack brings the edge to B&M constantly seeking out the “next thing” whether that is good food, fashion or booze, he always has his finger on the pulse of what’s next.
He is our in house fade specialist and has invested 4 years honing his barbering craft. Jack has been with Barber & Mack for over 2 years.
Mr. Kirk, friend to all and enemy to none (unless he doesn’t like you), Simon is our shop manager and calming force.
Simon has been at B&M since 2017 and is an all round master of barbering.
After living in Australia for 7 years working as a Science and PE teacher Carl decided to return home and have a change of career and train to be a barber. Carl has spent the last year working at another well known Harrogate Barber shop, in this time he gained experience and honed his cutting skills.
Carl is a keen snowboarder, crossfitter and rugby player with an interest in painting and drawing.
Zoe is trained hairdresser who decided she was better suited to barbering, now with 6 year’s barbering experience Zoe is versatile and accomplished in all areas of men’s cutting.
In her down time she is a keen singer and often gigs around Harrogate and Knaresborough. Also a passionate foodie with a love for cooking, Zoe is adventurous and likes a challenge and is looking forward to developing her barbering skills further at Barber and Mack and building her client base.
A breath of fresh air – Lotty exudes positivity and passion for what she does, she brings a touch of elegance to the shop that none of the other team members can replicate.
Lotty has previously had a very successful career in the luxury goods sector namely working with some of the worlds most prestigious watch brands, having tired of London living and international travel she decided to move back home to Yorkshire and train as a barber and pursue a calmer pace of life.
Lotty has been with us since 2019 and we are lucky to have her on the team!
